These wood shacks stand long after their "remove by" date. They are home to too many people. This one is on the beach highway that runs along the Atlantic in Osu, Accra, Ghana.
With so little traffic to this site, and it's not a City Dalily Photo site, I've been wondering how many people actually visit (outside of great DP friends like you.) I thought I would post a photo of one of the many places I have found myself and this particular shot jumped out at me....just to see if anyone would notice and comment. It was taken in Jan/Feb last year. I was there doing "advance" for a five-nation trip to Africa by the President and First Lady. (VERY interesting 2-3 weeks, fascinating place and a thrill for me. Of, course, I shot 3-400 photos.) Maybe I should make this site a rambling collection of photos from lots of different trips and places??
So, if this isn't a scene of Florida's swaying palm trees, sailboats at anchor and breathtaking sunsets, where is it?
